In today’s post I’m going to be sharing my protein pancake recipe, now as mentioned in my last blog post I’m no cook so if I can follow this recipe pretty much anyone can!
There is only a few ingredients used and most you will already find in your cupboards! Now this recipe will differ on flavour depending on what protein powder you use, I’d recommend using a protein powder with chocolate flavouring but you could use others.
It only takes about 5 minutes prepping time and around 4ish minutes to cook depending on how thick you want your pancakes to be!
1 ripe banana
1 scoop of protein powder
2 medium eggs
1 tbsp plain flour
And that’s it!
Now I’ve tried this recipe quite a few times now, it’s better when you use a ripe banana as it mixes better but it doesn’t matter entirely you can use a banana that isn’t ripe it just makes the mixture slightly lumpy.
Just mix all the ingredients together, place in a pan on a medium to high heat and cook until browned slightly, I love to top the pancakes with fresh fruit but if you wanted to make it slightly less unhealthy you could add some Nutella or whipped cream!
